Though these photos were taken in the fall of 2016, I still wanted to make a blog post for this gorgeous family mini session. I've done many family shoots over the years, but this one was one of my favourites.
The lighting was perfect, the colours were so vibrant, and this family was such a joy to work with! They travelled almost an hour to come to my families farm to do these photos, and I am so grateful!
Family mini sessions are perfect for families with kids under 5, half an hour of shooting is the perfect amount before their attention span runs out. I hope these photos bring a smile to your face!
On Saturday October 1st, I was fortunate enough to second shoot this gorgeous couples wedding with Holly McFarlane Photography & Design. The two of us have conquered 10 weddings together this year, and are nearing the end of our busy 2016 wedding season, with 6 weddings already booked for 2017, and one for 2018!
This wedding was an absolute dream to photograph - such a beautiful location, sweet couple & one of the most gorgeous wedding bouquets I've seen to date!
Here are a few of my second shooter shots from this day :)
One of my favourite mommy & me sessions to date - Lauren has so much love for her little boy, Jack. He has the most gorgeous eyes I have ever seen!
This summer I have been fortunate enough to not only shoot at several different weddings, but attend weddings as well! I feel as though the summer months flew away from me, and because of that, I had little to no time to blog. I try to keep my facebook page updated as much as possible, so please forgive me for being a terrible blogger! Life is busy, as I'm sure many of you know.
This summer, I have second shot several weddings with Holly McFarlane Photography. Holly and I have partnered up with for the 2016/2017 wedding season. Here are a few shots from weddings we have worked at together this year - enjoy!
ps.. I am already have booked for 2017 - thank you to all for your love, support & business! You've made my dreams continue to come true.xo

A love country engagement sessions <3
Can't wait to photograph this couples wedding next year! They were a dream to photograph, and it was so easy to see just how much they adore and love each other.
This summer is going to be jammed packed with weddings that I am shooting, second shooting & attending. 2 down, 13 more to go :)
This year, I was so thrilled to be asked to second shoot for Jessica Lynn Photography - a photographer I have admired for so long! I will also be working alongside the amazingly talented Holly McFarlane Photography & Design. I'm also starting to book quickly into 2017 - I feel so blessed that I get to do what I love: create beautiful images for couples to look back and reflect on for a life time.
Here is a handful of images from a beautiful wedding I second shot with Jess back in May, enjoy!
Last weekend I had the pleasure of photographing this newly engaged couples e-session. Bre had so many great and fun ideas for this shoot, so I was thrilled when she asked me to be her photographer!
With DIY crafts, this shoot was certainly blog worthy, as there were so many little details that made this shoot so fun! The location - in the beautiful Rockwood Conservation area was so stunning.
Here are a few of my favourite shots from the day - hard to choose since there are so many great ones!
How could it possibly be January 2016 already?
With the beginning of another year, I always find myself looking back and reflecting on the past year. 2015 was so good to me. It was by far one of my busiest years since I started my photography adventure four years ago. I had the pleasure of working with new and old clients, and was able to capture beautiful memories.
Yes, 2015 was good to me. I graduated from Conestoga College's Business program with Distinction and Honours, and got a full time job working as a Junior Graphic Designer. Even working full time, I managed to have at least one shoot every weekend from the end of August all the way until the middle of November! I only took time off to get laser eye surgery, and am happy to have perfect vision - to see life the way my camera does!
Since I was terrible at blogging this past year, I plan to do better. To make up for my lack of blog posts, here are a handful of some of my favourite images from 2015.
Here's hoping 2016 tops last year, and I cannot wait for the new memories to be made this year.
I had been looking so forward to this wedding ever since I did this gorgeous couples engagement photos. Ilona is my second cousin, and I was absolutely thrilled when she asked me to be her wedding photographer. Ilona was one of the most laid back brides I have ever worked with, she was so calm when I arrived to take photos of her and her bride maids getting ready. There were so many details to this wedding that made it so unique and special.
The ceremony was absolutely beautiful, under an Oak tree in the middle of a wheat field where Morgan proposed. Guests were taken in a wagon with small straw balls to the ceremony (such a cute idea). For the bridal party photos, we went to the perfect location: an old bank barn with a wheat field and corn field on both sides - a photographers dream! Thanks to the wedding party for being so kind, fun & cooperative :) I could probably share 300 photos from the day, but here are some of my favourites.
Congratulations Ilona & Morgan on your beautiful wedding day, and I wish you all the happiness in the world as you start your married lives together. Thank you for trusting me with your memories, it means the world to me! <3
Summer, sunshine & photos - what could be better?
I always love when clients ask for a session around the time of sunset, more famously known as "golden hour". The sun is such a warm deep light, and it makes for beautiful photos.
Here are a few of my favourite photos from last nights session with this lovely little family.
